Rangitata Fish Screen

RDR fish screen system is the largest and most complex ever built in New Zealand. It’s built to capture more than 30 cubic metre per second of flow from the Rangitata River while safety returning fish to the river via a 190 metre bypass channel. Kstruct provided a crew to Smith Cranes to help carry out all concrete works and formwork to complete the new concrete channel of 105m length with 5m high walls.
